Congratulations Apprentices!

Three Local 1 Apprentices are advancing to the National Apprenticeship Contests!

The International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers' North Central Regional Apprenticeship Contests were held May 29 and May 31, giving our apprentices an opportunity to showcase their skills. Gathering the best apprentices from across the region, contests for Tile Setters, Bricklayers, and Pointer-Cleaner-Caulkers focused on a range of skills on various projects while working within strict time limitations.

BAC Local 1 will be represented in each category at the National Apprenticeship Contest this fall! Anthony Fisher (Tile Setter), Matt Plieseis (Bricklayer), and Michael Corniea (PCC) are all advancing to the September contest in Detroit, Michigan.
